Ye Duan (段晔）is an associate professor of computer science at the University of Missouri. He received his Bachelor of Arts in mathematics from Peking University in 1991. He received his Master of Science in mathematics from Utah State University in 1996. He received a Master of Science and his Ph.D. in computer science from the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 1998 and 2003. From September 2003 to August 2009, he was an assistant professor of computer science at University of Missouri. His research interests include computer graphics and visualization, biomedical imaging and computer vision, machine learning, with a special focus on 3D vision, visualization, 3D shape modeling and understanding.
